There
are attempts by scrupulous persons to pass on viruses.
1. Do not open attachments on
e-mails you receive, unless you are expecting the e-mail attachment, and even
then, only after you have checked it with your anti-virus program.
2. Do not accept e-mail notices
of change : of mail servers (reportedly because they are down or
otherwise), or : change of e-mail addresses. ALWAYS FIRST confirm. If we make a change, we will
post them on our webiste.
3.
Do
not provide private or confidential information in response to e-mails unless you know the person you
are giving it to.
4. Do
not click or activate addresses ( links) in received e-mails, to any
of our web pages or other web pages on the internet if : the screen shows you are going to
another site or : if you are unable to verify that clicking on the
address (link) will take you to the internet
address being represented (It is possible to hyperlink a written
address, name, picture .etc. and send you elsewhere than what is being
represented).
5. Do
install an anti-virus program that receives continual updates on virus
definitions and periodically does a scan of your computer for viruses, in order
to delete or quarantine them.
Bogus E-mails sent you?
We at Mexicolaw.com do
not maintain e-mail or any other type of accounts (free or subscription) and do
